Based in Atlanta, GA, Shaquayla Mims is the owner, head writer and director of Gatebreaker Productions, and co-host of the Film Crew Podcast. She has worked on a range or productions, from independent shorts to a Netflix feature. In partnership with other creatives, Shaquayla is a co-founder and the co-president of Film Family Org., a non-profit organization for filmmakers of color to build a collaborative community beyond the screen.
